COUNCIL CHILDCARE FUNDING
FOR ALL CHILDREN AS THEY TURN 3 YEARS OLD
All three and four-year-old children are eligible to receive funding from the Council (EECP - Early Education Childcare Place). The funding covers the equivalent of 15 hours, funded at the hourly rate of £5.67 per hour over 35 weeks in the school year and paid in three termly instalments.
The total for the year is over £3,000 i.e. over £1,000 per term on average.
Some children are also eligible to draw down funding for an extended period of 15 additional hours (for a total of 30 funded hours).
Please note that this funding does not cover the whole cost related to your child’s education. The additional cost is covered by the parents and is itemised in your invoice as the “agreed package of services”. It includes such services as teaching by our highly trained teachers, organic snacks and meals, drama & music lessons, workshops, and outings. One school smock (embroidered with your child’s name) is also provided.
A completely free offer may be available at another provider. Please contact the EECP team at Wandsworth Council for more information.
A discount of 5% is offered on the youngest sibling’s school fees (school, breakfast club and after-school care).
The drop-off time is from 7.50am. Children are then brought into their classrooms at 8:20am. Breakfast is served to all children.

Yes, there is a £50 fee due when you make an application for your child to attend L'Ecole du Parc. When we receive both the application and fee, we will add your child to our waitlist.
Registration means a child is placed on Ecole du Parc's waitlist. It does not guarantee a place at the school.
Admission to the school is based on a child's position on the waitlist. Waitlist position is determined by the date of registration. Priority is given to siblings of existing and past pupils of l'Ecole du Parc.
Yes, there is a £900 deposit to secure a place for your child. It is payable when a child's parents on Ecole du Parc's waiting list are offered a school place.
(Please see our full terms & conditions for our deposit refund policy).
Only the Autumn Term fees are due one month prior to the beginning of term i.e. early August.
Spring Term and Summer Term fees are due on the first day of term.
Yes, we require a commitment for the term, for the before and/or after-school clubs. We cannot offer refunds if a child is not able to attend the clubs.
Yes. Depending on your income or on your child's needs, you may be eligible for a grant from the time your child turns 2. All children receive a grant from Wandsworth Council from the term after they turn 3. This grant is worth over £3,000 per school year on a full-time basis (double this for 30 funded hours i.e £6,000)
