A CARING AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT

We aim to provide a caring and nurturing environment for children whatever their backgrounds or abilities may be.

This translates into our actions and behaviour, such as being available for each child and his/her parents at drop-off, listening to each child and being attentive to what he or she has to say and being mindful of the words and tone we use.

 We never “label” children, only actions.

A child must be able to develop their trust and self-esteem at school. The adult must trust the learning ability and development skills of the child. The teacher helps:


  • To promote children’s independence by letting them take their time and persevering
  • To foster the children’s confidence by giving them responsibilities

We want the learning situations to be integrated in a functional and fun way.

We attach great importance to free play time, exploration activities and sensory activities.

This is how children can accumulate experiences that promote the harmonious development of their motor and intellectual systems.
